We Walk Because They Walked.
Before a single step is taken, we stand at Bomana. Rows of young men who never came home. This walk begins with remembrance, and it never stops being about them.
1942 · The Track
Ground That Already Knows What Men Are Made Of
In 1942, young Australians held this line with almost nothing but each other. Mud to the knees, rain that never stopped, ridge after ridge, and mates carried out on stretchers by Papua New Guinean hands.
They didn't hold that line because they were fearless. They held it because they refused to leave the man beside them.
The track still asks the same question it asked them: what are you made of when everything is stripped away?

For seven years Amend Movement has walked beside men, through the bush, through hard conversations, through the things they'd never said out loud. More than 10,000 men have done this work with us.
Kokoda isn't a departure from that. It's the same work, taken further.
Resilience, brotherhood, and the kind of emotional leadership a man carries home to his family and his mates. That's what we're walking for.
Twenty-Eight Men. Nine Days. One Track.
Not the fittest men in the room. Men who are ready to be tested, ready to be honest, and ready to show up for the twenty-seven walking beside them.
The Walk Starts Long Before PNG.
From the day they were accepted, these men started training. Loaded packs, hills, long days on their feet, and every piece of gear tested so nothing on the track is a surprise. They train as a group, and the work they do at home is what will carry them over the ridges.
There Will Be A Moment They Want To Stop.
Steep climbs, river crossings, rain, no signal, no distractions. That moment is the point. What happens next, and who reaches back for them, is what they'll carry home. And it's what you'll see.
The Amend Difference
The Real Work Happens Inside.
Plenty of trek companies can get men up this mountain. The guide, the doctor, the porters, the itinerary, that part looks the same no matter who you walk with.
What's different here is everything Amend builds into the days between the ridges. Structured reflection, real conversation, and the same inner work we've spent years doing with over 10,000 men, aimed at building these men from the inside out, not just testing what's on the outside.
They won't come home from this just fitter. They'll come home stronger fathers, better partners, and better men for the people around them.

The team: 28 Amend men, each walking with their own personal PNG walker, alongside guides, a trek doctor and a film crew. Around 60 people on the track together.
Where it begins: Port Moresby and Bomana War Cemetery, where we stand with the young men who never came home.
The Lead-Up.
Three months before the walk, the twenty-eight come together every fortnight on Zoom to share their stories, so that by the time we're standing at Bomana, we already know each other.
Every month, each man films a short video of where he's at. Those videos build this story in public, so you can feel it coming long before the first step is taken.
Our Goal.
100,000 people following this journey before we land in Port Moresby.
Because the more men who see other men doing this work, the more men will find the courage to start their own.

The entire journey is being filmed as a 10-part documentary series. Every training session. Every hard conversation. Every ridge. Released publicly on YouTube and across social media.
This isn't content. It's twenty-eight men doing something most men never let themselves do, in front of everyone who needs to see it.
Men who can't make this walk will still feel every step of it, from home. Not twenty-eight men on a track. Thousands of men in it with them.
