Application & Selection

Applications for the Kokoda 2027 trek are reviewed individually by the Amend Movement admin team. Submitting an application does not guarantee a place. Selection is at Amend Movement's discretion. If approved, your place is only secured once the full $6,000 AUD trek cost is received within 14 days of approval.

Payment

The total cost of the trek is $6,000 AUD per participant, payable in full within 14 days of your application being approved. No payment plans are available.

Refunds & Cancellations

Of the $6,000 AUD total, $900 AUD is a non-refundable component. This amount is paid directly to our trek operator, Kokoda Spirit, to secure your position on the trek and is non-refundable under any circumstances.

You have a 30-day cooling-off period starting from the date your payment is received. If you withdraw within this 30-day window, the remaining balance ($5,100 AUD) will be refunded to you, less the non-refundable $900 AUD.

Once the 30-day cooling-off period has passed, no refunds will be given for any reason, including illness, injury, or change of personal circumstance.

Refunds, where applicable, are processed within 5–10 business days back to the original payment method. Given the strict no-refund position after the cooling-off period, we strongly recommend participants take out personal travel insurance that includes trek cancellation cover.
